A story is not necessarily told from the beginning. It can be a cut-out of a moment, a feeling that arises in that moment and remains reverberating, forming new sensations and even provoking our minds and bodies. "Prologue" emerged as a reaction to the closure and constant beginning of cycles, mainly inspired by the image of the sunset.

The sunset is, for me, the representation of this conclusion of situations: a day that ends, another night that begins. The change that directly influences bodies, places, colors, visual perception, energy. Everything is a direct conversation between living beings and the environment in which they are.

Being in the presence of this event (the sunset) makes me reflect on these state passages that we have during a day, regardless of how it was (happy, sad, calm, tedious, agitated ...). There, in space-time, it occurs in the same way: the day dawns, passes and darkens. As random as our day is, we still have situations around us that remain constant. Some things cross my mind, and one of them is how much we are really willing to contemplate and understand the changes and constants in our lives.

"Prologue" is also about a path that has already been drawn, but not completed. It started, but it is not at the end and maybe not even in the middle. It is a ticket, which can last 10 minutes or more. You feel like contemplating. Watch what happens during this transition, everything move and stop. The unforeseen events continue without anything to prevent, but nothing is interrupted. Feel what is presented to us, actually placing us in the position of spectator. Ears willing to listen, bodies willing to feel.

Improvisation and exploration music is the chosen path of this song, which came as a whirlwind and passed me by. As a photo, it was registered and is among us. I invite everyone who is going to read this text, to an immersive listening on that road, street or avenue that goes towards chance.
